Twinkle twinkle little star
I still wonder what you are...
Up above the world so high,
Like colourful diamonds you decorate the sky.
Be you near or be you far ; Be you faint or be you bright
I just feel boggled every time I gaze
With your blue,yellow and red colours
You make us astronomers guess your age..
You come single or come with a group or you simply come in a pair
You come visible to the naked eyes or with telescopes you make us stare
You are non interactive or you make your lighter companions fly
You are either taking birth or you are ready to die..
I look towards you with all the zest and zeal
For the secrets of universe which you promise to reveal
For centuries in the sky that you have been
And for series of generations looking at you have seen
Have I really grown any bit old to know you, I still ponder
